java bootcamp ~ 3rd/4th week ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)

Last week we had holidays in my country, so I kinda forgot to make a post and took the time to do some things irl (visited my grandma, cleaned our house, etc) _(:3」∠)_

pokedex update: i'm stuck because i don't know how to make the profile page work... and it doesn't help that i don't know how to put in words (even in my own language) what i need to do orz ;; but i saw someone else's code that is in the same track and i could understand a bit of what they did. Another person, intead of doing a separate profile page, made a modal box showing each pokemon profile hmhm

I'm at the beginning of the angular module, and i studied about web components and typescript. I need to review it again so i don't forget Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

I decided to start java too, at least the beginner part! Until today i was following the order of how the content was displayed, so it started with html/css, javascript, angular, etc, and each of those modules have lessons ranging from beginner to advanced, so i thought to myself that maybe it would be more productive and easier for me if i do most of the beginner classes without following the modules order, so i'll go into all the beginner java classes and go slower with the more advanced. Not too slow because the bootcamp ends in 22/10.

I feel like im playing some kind of management game because of the time limit

So, your favorite character, if you don't mind me asking? I bet on Cahara or Enki, but I'm interested if I'm right. Also, did you try Termina already, or just the first game for now?

Thank you, I'm looking forward to posting again!! And yeah, I played both fungers back to back (with some issues, seeing as it is "banned" in my homeland haha). What draws me in me is the setting, artstyle and morbidity to it, I'm not partial to any character in particular! If I have to pick one, I was mostly interested in Pav. In my freetime, I doodled some stuff for it too! I will finish those wips soon.

Twisted Wonderland Fear and Hunger AU

Malleus fear and hunger concept designs

for the human/ funger design i had a lot of characters in the same type of outfit so for malleus i wanted to give him a long skirt to break up the designs. bringing the skirt into the design balanced not only the cast but the design as a whole.

on the belt a few sprigs of herbs are tied for easy access.

i wanted malleus to be still recognisable as himself without his horns through his hair and i believe achieved that

Moonscorched malleus

the Lonesome

Born from Malleues’s fear of being alone forever and losing those around him the lonesome is born. Being a dragon his horde of humans will keep him company for eternity absorbing whatever unlucky soul that dares to cross its path. the lonesome lashes out and perceives whoever approaches as a threat. If left alone the lonesome will seek more people to add to its never-ending horde. The lonesome seeks companionship but its very nature repels 

Malleus will become moonscorched on the afternoon of day 2 if you fail to stop an interaction with a non-playable contestant (character not decided at this time). Failing to intervene will result in malleus moonscorching in the orphanage. There the lonesome will lurk the abandoned hallways searching for its next companion. 

The draconic nature of his moonscorched form correlates with his draconic fae heritage in twst. His moonscorched form stands upon a horde of bodies like a pile of gold. The faces of those he's obsorbed are displayed on his body. For this design, i wanted to invoke a sense of an almost eldritch horror. Trying to capture the feeling and style of fear and hunger while also making the design my own and incorporating elements of twst is the challenge of these concept sketches

His moonscorched form would be one that most would avoid occurring because of how powerful and difficult it is. he isn't one to underestimate and neither should his moonscorched form. His fight however wouldnt be impossible to beat just really difficult.

was scanning the funger subreddit for smth (a fools errand, truly) and yknow ngl I'm kinda tired of people looking at character designs that aren't conventionally attractive and calling them ugly

Samarie is pretty in the way that a tree stretching away from a powerline is. That an orange that has thicker flesh is. She may never be on the cover of vogue but god damn if she wouldn't make me stop and look twice in a grocery store to admire her. She's natures imperfections and I wouldn't have her any other way ngl. She's pretty don't try to change my mind u can't

I didn't expect I'd get hooked to Termina right away cause I thought my fixation for F&H 1 (specifically D'arce) would stay a little longer but damn, it got overthrown quick-

Anyways, I saw that Swap Samarina fanart from Reddit, the Dream Team by biyaiyko here in Tumblr, and that Swap Levi and Pav fanart from Twitter (I refuse to call it X even if the URL has changed-) (thread carefully if you are not fond of pavlevi tho)

With those three combined, all I could think of is: "Hey, since Marina and Levi are close, why don't I make a Swap AU where it's Samarie and Pav are not just close but found siblings?". Now enjoy this drawing that I headcanon that Samarie drew when she was little-

have you played fear and hunger? i'm surprised you're into it lol

I watch my partner play it while I work. He's got 50+ hours in it (SORRY TO CALL YOU OUT) so I know it all very well. Y'all might not know this about me, but I'm very into studying ancient history/art/religion/occult etc. In fact, it could have been an alternate career path for me. I've been this way since I was very young. So, in that respect, all of the alternate religion/old gods/ancient underground city content in the game fascinates me and I love it very much. I absolutely love seeing people's Agartha or Shambhala-adjacent interpetations. Whoever made it clearly also has the same love of the subjects as I do, I can see all of the specific cultural influences referenced here and there for the lore, environments, and enemy designs. Two stories I would like to make someday also concern these kinds of topics. Though both would be quite the undertaking so I'm saving them for when I have more time. Excited to flex my weird specific historical knowledge. I am also a hardcore horror fan so in that regard, I love it too. I love morbid things (within reason, of course). You'll know this about me if you've read BKMN. And... lastly... I cannot deny it. It's hard to resist pretty men with long hair. And there are many in this game. :)
